#46) My favorite color is RED!

That wasn't very hard to figure out...damn near every entry is red...I work at Target and used to work at Office Depot. So, I went from wearing red and black to wearing red and khaki. I love red. Practically everything I wear is red...used to hate pink, but now I have even started to wear that b/c it is a derivative of red. Ooh! I am becoming a girly girl! Uhm, not! ^-^ I just love red! In all its forms!

#44) I have a hard time saying no

It doesn't matter what it is...perfect strangers asking nosy questions, friends/co-workers asking for a favor...I have a hard time refusing requests. Sometimes, I think there must be something wrong with me b/c sometimes it seems as though I go out of my way to please everyone, but me.

#43) I have to be one of the most boring people ever!

Really! I have to be considered dull! I cannot make witty small talk. I am never the life of the party. I am not adventurous nor do I seek/provide excitement. I am not the one you call when you want someone to come up with something fun to do on the spur of the moment. I fade into the background. There is nothing extraordinary or outstanding about me that would make you notice me. I love to read, I would love to throw dinner parties, I like to spend time with my family and friends: watching movies or just hanging out...that is boring, right?

One of my favorite authors of all time is Dr. Seuss. His unimitable writing style and drawings made reading fun. His work transcends age groups. Anyone can pick up any of his books and find a relevant life lesson in it. When I graduated high school, all the key note speakers (from the valedictorian to honored guests) quoted from Oh! The Places You'll Go!

#41) I am the picture of mental illness

When people see me, thankfully, they do not realize that I am a maniac depressive, that I have acute anxiety disorder, suffer from post traumatic stress syndrome, have an abnormal eating disorder or any of the other host of diagnoses...but I am the picture of mental illness! From the outside, I appear to be the calm, cool, collected, got it goin' on woman...it is a double-edged sword b/c all the compliments feel like a lie to me...I never see how I could possibly be any of those things...

#40) I love pastries!

If I could, I would eat donuts, eclairs, etc. every day! Good gooey sweetness! ^-^ I like Shipley's, Dunkin' & Krispy Kreme...those are three I go to the most...not in that order...wonder how hard it'll be to make donuts at home? Do I wanna do that? Naw, not really...more fun to go out for 'em...

#38) I daydream about becoming a celebrity

In my day dreams, I don't know what I will do, exactly, to become famous, but I am a celebrity...
I imagine what it would be like to have fans and admirers...the pro's and con's of it all...
Sometimes, I daydream what it would be like to be Mariah or "my cousin," Tyra...
Could I be influencial like Oprah?
Create something fresh and mod like "my cousin," Kimora?

Don't really have any talents...not that creative...is it really possible for this daydream to become a reality?

#37) I tend to show whatever I am feeling on my face

Unfortunately, I cannot hide my true feelings...I am an open book when it comes to telling how I feel or what I think about a particular situation...Is this a good or bad thing? Iounno. Means I ain't a good liar, for sure! ^-^

#36) Need to get my license...SOON!

I stupidly let me license expire b/c I was scared about an unpaid warrant...so I have not had a valid license since 2001. Now, to get my license, I have to take the written and driving tests again...Need to do that soon! Need valid ID for...well, for whatever! Need to get on that ASAP! Gotta do it soon!

#35) I am amazed by how young people think I look

Did I already say this? Oh well. But, yes, people constantly think I am in my twenties or younger. Wierd to me, because I think I look my age. Glad I have a youthful appearance though.

#34) I have a second job

For this tax season, I am a tax preparer for Liberty Tax Service! I will earn seven dollars an hour plus commission. I haven't done my first return yet, but LTS expects me to have my first return done tomorrow. I look forward to earning some money. I'd like to save toward a place of my own. I thought this would be a great second job as I have done my own taxes and usually do a few for friends for free. Will be nice to get paid for it now!
